The 16th Iranian All Petanque and Bowls Championships for selecting men, women and juniors’ national teams together with the 17th General Assembly of the Iran Petanque and Bowls Association (IPBA) were organized successfully in Tehran during January 13-17, 2025. Last week, was the second time that the most famous international venue of Iran “Azadi Sport Complex” hosted the national annual of the IPBA.

After two years of world events awarding directly qualifying titles or selection points, the following federations (see ‘read more) have been selected for the World Games, which will take place from 07 to 17 August in Chengdu, China.

Teams will consist of one female and one male athlete, who will compete in three events: precision shooting - ladies and gentlemen - and a mixed doubles competition. The athletes will be fully catered for from August 12th, the day of arrival, until August 18th, the day of departure, with the competitions taking place on August 15th, 16th and 17th, the day of the closing ceremony...
